A Windsor man calls attending the Super Bowl in Minneapolis an "emotional kaboom."
Doug Newton sat in the front row at the 50 yard line to watch the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the New England Patriots.
He describes it as euphoric with all the people watching, Pink doing the anthem, Justin Timberlake doing the halftime show and the game itself.
Speaking on the Morning Drive, Newton says it was an incredible experience.
"It is a lot to take in because there is so much going on," he says. "There is a flyover and there is Pink doing the anthem, and there is the half-time show right in front of us and the celebration. We were down on the field afterwards and the celebration with the confetti and the players going crazy. It was an emotional kaboom."
"We were in the Eagles side so we were sitting, we were on the Eagles bench side, so our side was the winning team which was fortunate for us, the other side was the New England side so we were on the good side."
Newton says he was pleased the Eagles won stating, "it was time for a new champ."
