The City of Windsor has launched a new website to make it easier for people to get active.
The new online service at www.activewindsor.ca allows residents to view the different programs offered at city facilities, to register and create an online account.
It is also mobile friendly.
The city had been using a 20-year-old system at reconnectwindsor.ca but it had become outdated.
Windsor's Executive Director of Recreation and Culture Ray Mensour says it's the way of the future.
"People will be able to text people, will be able to email people, they will be able to link through social media right from our account and get notices that way, you will be able to purchase and renew memberships," he says.

Users can also save payment information to make future transactions safer and quicker.
The city will continue to publish the paper version of the fall activity guide as some people still like the more traditional forms of communication.
