Windsor will be playing host to a conference for the who's who in the tourism industry.
It has been selected to host the 2017 Travel Information Services Conference October 11-13, 2017 at Caesars Windsor.
The conference attracts travel information services professionals across Ontario and Canada to share the latest trends and best practices.
Windsor hosted this conference in 2009.
"We have developed a good working relationship with our friends at Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation and what it is doing is making sure they know of our tourism offerings and assets," says CEO of Tourism Windsor-Essex Pelee Island Gordon Orr.
"We are easy to get to. We have first class accommodations and meeting facilities at Caesars and at the end of the day we have a great vast product offering that they will be able to be educated during their product tour."
About 150 delegates will attend the conference.
