The search has begun for the next Miss Universe Canada.
Regional selection for the pageant kicks off in Windsor on Sunday.
Women from across the region will go through an interview process to see if they are eligible to compete.
Interviews will be held from 1pm-3pm at Mezzo Ristorante located at 804 Erie St.E.
Regional Director for Miss Universe Canada for Western Ontario, Sonny Borrelli, says the pageant continues to grow each year.
He says all women interested in the pageant are welcome to try out.
"It is an open casting call," says Borrelli. "They can just show up and see what we are all about and what we have to offer. This might very well be the ticket they are looking for to start their career in the fashion industry or the pageant industry."
Borrelli says there is no experience required to try out.
" We tell girls that there is no experience needed because we have some of the best trainers in the region," says Borrelli.
He says the casting call is a great way to get to know the contestants.
"The casting call is almost like a job interview," says Borrelli. "We get to meet them, they get to meet us, we give them the information and from there we will make a decision based on all the criteria we have in place in whether or not they will continue to the regional pageant."
Candidates who have successful interviews in Windsor will advance to the Western Ontario Pageant.
From there, the top five contestants and other national delegates will earn a spot in the Miss Universe Canada 2017 Pageant.
