A Windsor homeowner is shaken up after a car rammed into the front of his house this morning.
A driver failed to stop at a stop sign at Elliott and Marentette around 4am Tuesday, jumped the curb and plowed into the front porch.
The homeowner was sleeping and said 'it sounded like a bomb went off and his whole house shook.'
No one was hurt in the home, but the female driver was taken to the hospital.
A neighbour nearby, Pam, who didn't want to give her last name, says she was told the driver was speeding down Marentte prior to the crash.
"She went at least 80 miles an hour down the street and didn't stop at the stop sign, was airborne and took the top of the tree off and she was in bad shape."
She says it was a bit of a blessing that it happened so early in the morning.
"There are so many kids in this neighbourhood and with the summer, it's wow, it couldn't have been very bad."

A tow truck was on the scene around 9:30 a.m. to remove the vehicle.
Windsor police are investigating.
