A well known Windsor community activist is being remembered at Queen's Park.
Pat Noonan passed away yesterday.
Windsor-Tecumseh MPP Percy Hatfield says Noonan was a true warrior who started the city's feminist movement in the 1970's and opened a drop-in centre for abused women.
She also co-founded the Windsor Feminist Theatre, was a teacher and a principal.
In the Ontario legislature today, Hatfield described Noonan as bold and outspoken and a role model for us all.
