SAFE Windsor and the Windsor Express are hosting their first ever Pink Shirt Day basketball game this afternoon.
The game is in support of anti-bullying.
Co-Chair of SAFE Windsor-Essex, Patrick Kelly, says bullying can be stopped.
"Sports is one of the places where bullying happens a lot. When we approached the Windsor Express, some of their players had commented, 'You know, we were bullied when we were kids,'" says Kelly. "You think of these big, giant basketball players and bullying never comes to mind, but it happens to everybody. The team just thought it'd be a great cause to get on board and something their followers should know about."
The game starts at 2pm at the WFCU Centre.
