A very strong rating for the City of Windsor when it comes to meeting its financial commitments.
The debt rating firm Standard and Poors has renewed the city's rating at "AA."
The agency refers to the city's "prudent and well defined financial policies and a long-term plan with a focus on financial sustainability and reduced reliance on debt funding."
S&P also gave the city a stable outlook, pointing to the coming two years of Windsor's budget which will help it fund capital projects while paying down debt.
