Windsor dropped the second game in a home and home series against the Sting in Sarnia Friday night.
Just one day after losing a closely fought game 5-4 in overtime at the WFCU Centre Thursday night, Sarnia handled Windsor in convincing fashion.
The Sting owned the first two frames with four unanswered-goals on 21 shots, earning rookie Kari Piiroinen the rest of the night off.
Recently acquired goaltender Colton Incze faired a little better, stopping eight of the nine shots he faced.
Curtis Douglas scored the lone goal for the Spitfires midway through the third on the way to a 5-1 route at the hands of the Sting.
Windsor outshot Sarnia 32-30 in the loss.
The Erie Otters will face off against the Spitfires at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night — puck drops at 7:05pm
