Did you know a Windsor company provides janitorial supplies to Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment?
Windsor's Champion Products signed an exclusive deal with the MLSE two years ago.
Director of Sales Chris Lanman says his company provides toiletries, hand wash along with tools and cleaning supplies for all MLSE facilities including Scotiabank Arena, BMO Field and Real Sports Bar and Grill.
He says if you have attended a MLSE facility, you have more than likely used products from Champion.
"Throughout their facilities everything from paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels to cleaning supplies to all the stuff people don't think about when they're attending an event at one of their facilities," says Lanman.
Lanman wouldn't get into details of the agreement, but says it's a multi-year deal.
"I think they started with 10 or 12 other distributors throughout Ontario, worked our way down and at the end of the day they decided the flexibility that we gave them as an independent company and our hands on approach dealing with the customers made us different, unique in the industry," says Lanman.
He says Champion Products is proud to supply MLSE.
"The number of people that go through their facilities is definitely been I think eye opening to a lot of people that a company from Windsor can reach that stage," says Lanman.
Lanman says Champion Products is also an official sponsor of the Toronto Argonauts and Toronto FC.
He says products can also be found of the Coca-Cola Coliseum, the Toronto Maple Leafs practice facility the Mastercard Centre and the OVO Centre where the Toronto Raptors practice.
Champion Products started in 1991 and began selling shopping bags to local supermarkets.
The company also has offices in Detroit, Vaughan and Fort McMurray.
