Hang on to your hat.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
Meterologist Alyssa Young says a deep low pressure system over northern Ontario is causing strong wind conditions over much of the province, especially southwestern Ontario.
She says sustained winds of 60 km/h with gusts of 90 km/h are expected this afternoon.
Young says the wind will diminish early this evening.
She says wind may be strong enough at times to cause minor tree and building damage and local power outages.
