Villanova pulls off a big 76 win over Holy Names in high school hockey
The Villanova Wildcats forced a third and deciding game in their playoff series by trimming Holy Names 7-6 at the Vollmer Centre.
Game three in that series takes place at South Windsor Arena this afternoon at 2:00pm.
In other games St Anne stopped Massey 4-0 with Aiden Pitre earning the shutout.
Belle River edged Essex 3-2, as Ryan Nicholson, Cody McFarlane, and Reiss Robinson scored for Belle River.
In girls playoff action, L'Essor upset Belle River 1-0 with Maggie DeWolf-Russ scoring the only goal of the game.
Savannah Bouzide had the winner for Amherst in a 1-0 victory over Leamington.
