A third person has died as a result of the West Nile virus in Windsor-Essex.
The Health Unit says two of the deaths were adults living in the city while the third is an adult from the county.
Acting Medical Officer of Health Dr. Wajit Ahmed says the West Nile Virus continues to be a concern as temperatures are expected to remain mild for the next several weeks.
To date, 29 mosquito pools have tested positive for the disease and there have been 15 confirmed human cases and one probable case.
Across Ontario, there have been 65 human cases.
Residents should eliminate standing water from their property and wear bug spray with DEET.
