The closure of a Harrow convenience store and sub shop has disappointed some and angered others.
The 'Mac's Milk' on King St. E., along with the Subway next door, has closed after years in business.
Many blame a drop in customers after the closure of Harrow High School last summer.
There's been no explanation from the owner and town councillor Sherry Bondy is hopeful they won't stay closed for long. "Maybe there's a rebranding coming or maybe somebody else will want to open a private convenience store. That's the hope and if somebody is interested our town and economic development officer, we're more than welcome to work with them, we encourage anybody to approach us and we can work with them to open them up again."
"It's another blow for Harrow," says Bondy. "Unfortunately it's sad for our town because the Subway, I always thought it was busy, I never thought it was going to be a problem but now we have another closed store and we'll see what's going to become of it."
