A Windsor man has been charged with impaired driving following an overnight crash on Riverside Drive, which knocked out power.
Just after midnight, on Tuesday, April 14th, police were called to the crash in the 8100 block of Riverside Drive East between Watson and Lauzon.
A vehicle had collided with a utility pole knocking out power as well as damaging the front property of a home.
Police determined the driver's ability to drive was impaired by alcohol and he was arrested.
He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
He's been charged with impaired driving and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol content.
Police have not released his name.
Riverside Drive is expected to be closed for most of the day for repairs to the hydro pole.
