Officials in Chatham-Kent are outraged after some vandalism at a Wallaceburg park.
The municipality says the washrooms at Glen Mickle Park were recently vandalized.
"It was definitely a frustrating and disappointing thing to learn about this morning that the bathroom has been vandalized and damaged," says Councillor Aaron Hall. "We're definitely by that and discouraged."
He says it's not known when the damage occurred but Chatham-Kent police are investigating, he says it was definitely eye opening, adding "it's disappointing and you never like to see anything like this happen in your community and none of like to see that happen."
According to the municipality, the washrooms were locked. Damage is estimated between $3,000 to $5,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call Chatham-Kent police or Crime Stoppers.
