Police not confirming whether the shooter was hit by police gunfire
Three people are dead included the 29-year-old suspected gunman, after gunfire rang out along a busy Toronto street on Sunday night.
Several injured victimes remain in hospital.
Police Chief Mark Saunders told a media briefing that the shooter had exchanged fire with police officers and died at the scene.
He also said it was too early to speculate on a possible motive, but he urged anyone who had information, including possible video, to contact police.
