There's a sunny, warm weekend ahead in Windsor-Essex and that type of weather is expected to stick around until next month.
The Weather Network has issued its Fall Outlook.
Meteorologist Erin Wenckstern says it will be beautiful for the next two months.
"We have a fantastic stretch of really dry weather, really warm temperatures," says Wenckstern. "I think you guys (Windsor-Essex) may even reach almost 30 into the weekend. If you can get outside I would absolutely do it this weekend. We're looking at temperatures to remain above seasonal for the majority of September into October."
She says it will be warmer and drier for the next two months.
"We're going to be persistent above seasonal temperatures for most of September into October and then we may start to see those hints of winter into November," says Wenckstern.
She says there will be at times fall-like weather.
"We will have temperatures that are more October-like even November-like at times," says Wenckstern. "But it just seems it's more persistent or when you remember it as a whole, temperatures will be a little bit warmer than normal and a little bit drier than we've had for the past couple months."
She says there will be fewer rainier days for the next few weeks, but as we get into late October and into November we may see the return to the classic fall storms that track across the Great Lakes with strong winds and heavier rains.
