A wanted Windsor man has been arrested.
Windsor police say on Friday officers with the Property Crimes Unit were looking for a wanted man. The man was spotted on foot around 2pm in the area of Moy Ave. and Riverside Dr. passing through a back yard and alley way. Police say after the man disappeared from sight, officers set up a perimeter. The K-9 unit was called to the scene and the man was tracked to an unattached garage on Pierre Ave. near University Ave. E. K-9 officer Rony was sent into the garage after the man ignored several calls to come out. Police say the garage was full of items and hiding spots but Rony located the man and grabbed onto his arm and pulled him out to where he was arrested.
32-year-old Brandon Simone was arrested for a surety removal warrant and reported theft (both Windsor incidents) and a break and enter in LaSalle.
Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
