A man is in a London hospital suffering life-threatening injuries after a crash in Chatham-Kent.
OPP responded to the scene south of Wallaceburg on Hwy. 40 (St. Clair Rd.) near Robin Line around 4:15pm on Monday.
Police say a vehicle heading north on Hwy. 40 had stopped to turn off when a second vehicle smashed into it from behind.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered serious injuries. Police say he was first sent to a local hospital before being air lifted to London.
Hwy. 40 remain was closed between Electric Line and Corktown Line for several hous, but has since been re-opened.
