Less than half of eligible voters cast a ballot Monday night
It appears the honour for the 'highest voter turnout' in this area goes to residents in the town of Kingsville
Between Windsor and the seven municipalities in Essex County, voter turnout ranges from a low of 34.7% in Windsor to a high of 46.5% in Kingsville.
Kingsville Town Clerk Jennifer Astrologo is pleased with the turnout considering there wasn't a mayor or deputy mayor's race.
She says the number is still unofficial until a final report is done.
Essex, Leamington and LaSalle voted in a new mayor Monday night during the municipal elections.
