The city of Windsor is looking for some assistance with this year's Open Streets event.
Project Manager Michael Chantler says volunteers and community partners are needed for the September 17th event.
He says community partners will be stationed around the eight kilometre route while the volunteers will be greeters, maintaining road closure and provide directions.
Chantler says 550 volunteers are needed.
"There's no question we cannot do this without volunteers and without our community partners so after the success of last year we're hoping everyone comes on board,"says Chantler.
Chantler adds an Open Streets public planning session will take place on July 26th.
The sessions from from 3pm until 7pm at the Windsor International Aquatic & Training Centre.
He says if you're interested in becoming a volunteer or community partner to attend the session or visit the city's website.
