In the GOJHL last night, the Vipers earned their first win of the season, taking their home opener 6-2 over the London Nationals.
The game was tied one all after a period, and two-two going into the third, but the Vipers blew it open with four unanswered third-period goals.
Brett Vorshuk led the attack scoring twice, while Manny Silverio, Tyler Russell, Broden Meloche and Eric Kirby tacked on the other LaSalle goals.
The Vipers were coming off a pair of losses to Ancaster and Listowel at last weekend's Showcase Tournament in Brantford.
Dershahn Stewart made 30 saves to earn the win for the Vipers, who will play the Flyers tonight in Leamington.
