Banwell scores winner in Vipers 54 win over Chatham
Brett Banwell's goal midway through the third period was the winner as the LaSalle Vipers downed the Chatham Maroons 5-4 Wednesday night at the Vollmer Complex.
Cale Allen, Frank Zak, Liam MacDougall and Tyler Russell also scored for the Vipers.
Daniel Beaudoin had three assists.
Eli Billing stopped 23 shots to earn the win.
LaSalle has now won three straight and four of its last five games.
