Cale Allens shorthanded goal lifts LaSalle past Strathroy
Cale Allen's shorthanded goal early in the second period was the game-winner as LaSalle beat Strathroy 3-2 in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
The goal was Allen's second of the game.
Chris Playfair also scored for the Vipers, who got two assists from Kaelan O'Flynn.
Eli Billing made 20 saves to pick up the win.
LaSalle is in first-place in the Western Conference, eight points up on second-place London.
