Windsor police are hoping the driver of a pickup truck will come forward after a hit and run that left a cyclist seriously injured.
On September 6th, police responded in the evening to Tecumseh Rd. E. just west of Forest Glade Dr. .
A cyclist heading westbound had been hit by the passenger side mirror of the suspected black Ford F-150 at about 8:50 pm.
Police have now obtained video of the suspect vehicle just prior to the collision and released it to the public.
They believe there may be witnesses to the crash who have not yet come forward.
Constable Tayla Natyshak says someone may have seen the truck without the side mirror.
"It is definitely something that may have stood out to someone and may jog their memory seeing that vehicle at some point," says Natyshak. "Of course that vehicle may have been fixed since the incident."
The woman riding the bike suffered life threatening injuries.
