The latest episode of The Simpson's included Windsor.
Sunday night's episode, titled "D'Oh Canada," saw the cartoon family end up in Niagara Falls, New York.
Through a series of mishaps, Lisa Simpson goes over the falls and the water that separates Ontario and New York.
She lands on the Canadian side and is admitted to hospital, where she realizes Canada is the place for her.
"She is not unscathed, but because of Canada's incredibly generous health-care system, she ends up just fine," consulting producer Tim Long told The Canadian Press. Long grew up in Ontario and co-wrote the episode with his wife, screenwriter Miranda Thompson.
