The Marks family is taking the concept of a tiny home to a whole other level with the Runaway Expedition.
Annie Marks and her husband Jordan purchased a school bus three years ago and have since spent $25,000 adding solar panels, new flooring, a bathroom, a kitchen and bunk beds.
The plan; head west before dipping down into the U.S. for the majority of the journey before reaching British Columbia.
Annie tells CTV Windsor she hopes the adventure brings the family closer together.
"We just never saw each other. I never saw my kids. I was on opposite schedules as my husband and that's just not something we wanted," she says. Adding, the idea came after watching a documentary but the inspiration came from their daughters Avery and Riley.
