A Christmas wedding for a local couple.
Hunter Bushnell and Rebecca Kralovensky got married Monday morning at city hall.
The couple was suppose to get married next September but changed their plans recently after Hunter's grandfather became ill.
Hunter spoke to AM800 news after the wedding ceremony and says he and Rebecca wanted all their family at the wedding and that's why they made the sudden change.
He says they had a venue picked out and put down a number of deposits but pushing the wedding up was worth it.
"Rebecca and I really wanted to have everybody there so when we got news about grandpa then we just scrapped the whole big wedding and just got it done as soon as we could and ended up being Christmas Eve," says Bushnell.
Bushnell says it was an exciting morning for he and his wife.
"We felt great," says Bushnell. "There weren't really any nerves. We've been together for along time and we knew we wanted this and so we just showed up and did the ceremony and everything went smoothly."
Bushnell says after the service they all went to his parents house for the reception.
