Tecumseh fire confirmed a train is on fire on Banwell Rd. south of County Rd. 22
No injuries are reported after the engine of a freight train caught fire in Tecumseh.
Calls came in just after 7:30pm Sunday reporting a train blocking Banwell Rd. between County Rd. 22 and 42.
According to witnesses two engines were pulling the train when the second burst into flames, the lead engine then disconnected and distanced itself from the fire.
The roadway was closed for about three hours.
