The 1984 World Series champion Detroit Tigers are finally represented in Cooperstown.
Shortstop and World Series MVP Alan Trammell and ace pitcher Jack Morris were enshrined Sunday in the National Baseball Hall of Fame after both were elected by the Modern Era Committee.

Trammell played his entire 20-year career with the Tigers from 1977 to 1996, while Morris pitched for Detroit from 1977 to 1990.
Along with his time with Detroit, Morris won three more World Series titles with the Minnesota Twins in 1991 and the Toronto Blue Jays in 1992 and 1993 before retiring following the 1994 season, which he pitched for Cleveland.
Braves iron-man Chipper Jones, Dominican slugger Vladimir Guerrero, power-hitting first baseman Jim Thome, and long-time Padres closer Trevor Hoffman were also inducted on Sunday.
