The Windsor Spitfires will host the CHL ranked number nine Saginaw Spirit on Thursday night.
In fresh OHL season, the Spirit and Spits are both 1-1 — Windsor lost won it's first game in OT against Guelph and lost on the road to London.
Assistant Captain Cole Purboo says he really likes the team so far.
"I think we're developing great team speed, we're all close to each other in the room, we all have fun, so we definitely have a good team dynamic going and I'm excited to see what we can do this season."
Heading into Thursday's game Purboo says they're expecting Saginaw to be challenging.
"They're going to be a good team this year, they have a lot of good pieces so we're definitely doing to be ready for them. We had a good week of practices."
Puck drop Thursday is at 7:05 p.m.
