The Windsor Spitfires leading scorer is ready to take on the London Knights.
The first round OHL playoff series starts Friday night with game one at Budweiser Gardens.
"Obviously we're excited just to have the regular season done and start getting into the fun stuff," says Cole Purboo. "It was a long week, normally we have two practice days and this week we had four so everyone's just waiting to get rid of all that energy we've built up all week."

Head Coach Trevor Letowski says the team's attitude will be to focus on the series one game at a time, saying "we just approach it as a hockey game that we're going to go expect to win game one, and then we move on from there. It's kind of a real short focus and we feel we have a good game plan and we're going to try and go execute that at the highest level we can."
According to Purboo, staying out of the box is essential. "Obviously they [London] have a lot of weapons," he says. "If we get into penalty trouble we're not going to win games. Then converting on our power play just making them pay when they take penalties because I think we have good team speed. If we can force them to take penalties and start racking up goals on the power play then I think we'll be alright."
Kari Piiroinen will start in goal for Windsor.
The puck drops in London at 7:30pm with AM800's broadcast starting with the pregame show at 7pm.
