Windsor pulled out a win against the division leading Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at the WFCU Centre Thursday night.
It would be midway through the second before the Greyhounds broke things open after Keeghan Howdeshell batted the puck out of the air and past Spitfires' goalie Michael DiPietro for a shorthanded goal.
Windsor would answer back just minutes later when Jordan Frasca drove hard to the net to deposit a rebound that caught Soo goaltender Matthew Villalta out of position to tie things up at 1-1.

Windsor continued to make a living around the crease Thursday night. Daniel D'Amico corralled a rebound off a point shot and tucked his ninth of the year behind a sprawling Villalta to take a 2-1 lead into the third.
Ryan Roth tied things up at two for the Greyhounds just one-minute into the third period, but Windsor answered yet again.
Spits defencemen Grayson Ladd pinched in to head off a Villalta clearing pass up the right wing boards before hitting Frasca on the tape in the slot. Frasca would bury his second of the game five-hole for the game winner.
DiPietro made 29 saves in the 3-2 victory.
Windsor visits Hamilton's First Ontario Centre Saturday to face off against the Bulldogs — puck drops at 4pm.
