The Windsor Spitfires are hoping for some redemption as they host their rival the London Knights Thursday night.
Last time the teams met, the Knights beat the Spitfires 5-2 at Budweiser Gardens in London.
Spits head coach Trevor Letowski says they'll be looking to build on Saturday's 4-1 loss at home to Kitchener.
"It's always fun to play London. They're a good team this year, but you know, we like our team. We're in a good place right now. We thought we played our best game of the season despite losing last time out and looking to grow from that."
Centre Tyler Angle says the team has grown a lot since they last played the Knights.
"I think our work ethic will help a lot. A lot of the guys on the team have big hearts. We work hard in practice. We're getting ready all week to prepare for this game. We haven't really thought much about the old game. We've got our video, we've got to watch that. We know what's coming. We've just got to be prepared for it and work hard."
Angle says it's a good time anytime the Knights are in town.
"We get pretty excited to play against London. Obviously it's always a hard fought game. London is coming in with a pretty good team. We went in there not too long ago, didn't have our best game, but we're expecting a lot from this team coming in with all their players back. We're not going to give them an easy game."
The Spitfires are 2-2 to start the season.
Thursday's AM800 pre-game show gets underway at 6:30pm.
Puck drops at 7:05pm at the WFCU Centre.
