Windsor is putting in some sweat equity in support of children with special needs.
The annual Spin4Kids Fitness Fundraiser hit the GoodLife Fitness club on Dougall Avenue Saturday.
Proceeds from the event, created by the GoodLife Kids Foundation, are applied locally through Family Respite Services of Windsor-Essex.
Family Respite Service's Alexandria Fischer tells CTV News the event is expected to reach its fundraising goal of $7,500.
She says every penny will go to good use.
"Making sure that children with disabilities can be active, they can be included, learn fundamental movement skills, develop friendships while they're participating in sports and recreation," she says. "It's a phenomenal strategy that GoodLife Kids Foundation has implemented."
