It was a dream come true for an 11-year-old boy at the Toys R Us store in Windsor.
Colby Johnson from St. Thomas, Ontario took part in a three-minute dash where he grabbed whatever toys he wanted, thanks to the Stairlight Children's Foundation Canada.
He has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that leaves him with chronic pain in his joints and fatigue.
But Tuesday morning before the store opened, Colby was painless as he dashed around the store, along with his four siblings and parents, grabbing board games, remote control cars, legos and whatever else he could get his hands on.
"It is amazing how your mind goes, even if you plan it," he says, admitting that adreline took over. "I was going for some board games, some nerf gun attachments, some bullets, remote control car, hard to keep track."
Colby's dad Ryan Johnson says it was great to see his son so happy.
"It was pretty intense," he says. "Running around like crazy watching him literally go like mad and seeing him pull stuff off with extreme excitement because those things he wouldn't normally get, so it was pretty crazy."

Colby's parents say Colby will not forget this anytime soon.
