Testimony in the sexual assault trial of a former Kingsville fire chief is expected to begin later this week.
The trial for Bob Kissner was originally set to begin Monday, January 7th, but instead pre-trial motions continued behind closed doors with no media access allowed.
Testimony is likely to begin Wednesday or Thursday.
The 62-year-old former chief is charged with 17 counts of sex-related offences by multiple complainants.
Charges include sexual assault, sexual exploitation and sexual interference.
Kissner was arrested in December 2016 by the OPP.
The trial is slated for three weeks.
Kissner has since retired.
