An assault charge against former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Roberto Osuna has been withdrawn.
In exchange, Osuna agreed to a peace bond.
Back in May the former Toronto All-Star was accused of Assault in relation to a domestic incident in Toronto.
On the same day he was charged the complainant took a flight back to Mexico, hasn't been back since and is refusing to return.
Without her testimony, the Crown says it doesn't have a reasonable prospect of convicting Roberto Osuna
Osuna served a 75-game suspension without pay and just before he was set to return to the Jays, he was traded to Houston.
