Ontario's NDP Leader has recommitted to implement a dental plan for seniors.
Andrea Horwath was joined by two seniors in Forest Glade in Windsor Wednesday morning where she vowed to establish a dental plan for seniors without retirement benefits so they could access and pay for dental fees with their OHIP card.
To pay for the dental plan, she will increase taxes on the rich earning over $220,000/year and will run deficits.

While in Windsor, Horwath was also asked about the local acute care mega hospital plan where she promised to get the hospital 'built and up and running'.
As for the location, she said it needs to be decided at the local level.
"The location issue is something that the local community has to hammer out and I know that it is controversial but that is something from sitting at Queen's park if given that opportunity following next week's vote, that is something that the local community has to determine," she says.
She says Windsor is one of the communities that has seen a number of challenges around hallway medicine and people not getting beds.
As AM800 News reported Wednesday morning, Ward 4 City Councillor Chris Holt voiced concerns the mega hospital wasn't being discussed by local candidates.
From Windsor, Horwath is heading to Leamington where she will make a 'highway-related' announcement.
