When the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Boston Bruins on Monday night, it will be a benchmark game for Patrick Marleau.
The 39-year-old winger will be playing in NHL game number 1,600 — becoming just the 11th player to reach that mark.
After the Monday morning skate, Marleau did his best to explain how he's gone from small town Saskatchewan to the NHL record books.
The puck drops at Scotiabank Arena at 7pm.
