Windsor Police Service remains tight lipped on an investigation in south-Walkerville where at least one person was taken to hospital, according to a witness.
Patrol officers were called to 1715 Windermere Rd. at around 2am Sunday morning. Neighbour Romeo Fluery tells CTV News he was woken-up by his dogs just before 3am.
"When I got up I was surprised to see the lights flashing but no sirens and there was ambulance and two police cars, then the firetruck pulled up ... A lot of things were going through my head. I thought somebody broke into the house," he says.
A visibly upset Fluery says it was much worse than he could have imagined.
"I watched for about ten-minutes before they brought somebody out on a gurney while they were doing chest compressions on them," he added.
The home remained taped off well into the day while the Forensic Investigation Unit worked the scene.
Major Crimes will only confirm it's an ongoing investigation at this time.
