Getting slimed for a good cause, that's what happened on Thursday to the District Manager for area LCBO stores.
Gorgiana Milen allowed some of her staff to slime her for raising funds to the United Way campaign.
She says her region includes stores from Windsor-Essex to Dutton.
Milen says employees along with customers were able to raise more $97,000.
She says employees at Walker Rd. store at Ottawa St. raised the most.
"$6901 was raised at this location alone," says Milen. "We have over 30 locations in my district."
She says employees starting collecting donations this past summer.
"The district had the highest growth of any district in the province for this campaign, over 40% increase over last year," says Milen.
Milen was also slimed at the Leamington store and the Wallaceburg store.
