LaSalle Police Service has joined Windsor Police Service in the search for a suspect who is allegedly using counterfeit U.S. money.
Police say the suspect was seen passing the fake bills at Windsor Crossing and are reminding the public to be careful when accepting cash.
As heard on AM800 news on Saturday, a warning was issued by Windsor police last week after a man was seen purchasing items from the Bulk Barn on Tecumseh Road East, at a nearby Wal-Mart and inside the Bentley store inside Tecumseh Mall.

LaSalle police believe it's the same suspect.
According to Windsor police, the counterfeit bills cost retailers in Windsor more than $1000.
The suspect is described as an Arabic man, in his late twenties to early thirties, between 5'-7" and 5'-10" with a medium build and beard.
He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police, LaSalle police or Crime Stoppers.
