This was the 63rd build for Habitat for Humanity WindsorEssex

"Everyone who donated hours, everyone and anyone involved in this project, thank you so so much...," says the new home owner, who has asked to remain anonymous.

Habitat for Humanity's 63rd Windsor-Essex build is in the books and the family is through the roof with joy.

An official reveal was held at the new home on Saturday.

The new homeowner tells AM800 News it's going to be life changing for her family.

"They're kind of running around looking at everything right now, they're very excited, it will be a whole different world for them," she says. "It's not what they're used to so it's overwhelming to even them."

She put in 500 hours at the Habitat Store to ensure her daughters wouldn't ever have to share a bed in an attic again.

"We weren't living in a great situation, there were other tenants involved and things like that that was a safety risk," she says . "It's going to be good to get a full night's sleep and feel safe and at peace."

Although they each get their own room, she says they'll likely bunk together one more time.

"It is very exciting, I have a feeling I'm going to have two little girls in bed with me tonight though," she says. "They're going to be excited but I have a feeling it's just going to be something we all kind of sleep on tonight and let reality sink in a little bit."

Members of the Bell Media team helped renovate the house and Coulters Furniture surprised the family by furnishing the entire home.
