Eating healthy is going to cost more in 2019.
According to researchers at the University of Guelph and Dalhousie University, food prices are expected to rise between 1.5% and 3.5% and the price of vegetables will jump 6%.
It works out to an extra $400 a year for the average family.
Researchers say lettuce and tomatoes will see the biggest increase.
On the other hand, the price of meat and seafood will fall.
