"She had a sense of humour sometimes that would come out," he says. "Just to see that sweet smile."
Taylor says Widholm was all-in when it came to helping others.
"She was involved in many different things she taught our adult Sunday class through our ladies group for a number of years, she led bible study class every week, she was involved in our missions committee," added Taylor.
Taylor tells CTV Windsor Widholm and her late husband Alf were all-in when it came to helping others.
"I remember coming up to the church after it snowed and you would see Anne and Alf shoveling the snow on the sidewalk out back, she was in her '70s and he was in his early '80s," he added.
The 76-year-old had been in hospital since Oct. 8, 2017 after she was brutally attacked on the Ganatchio Trail — she died on Dec. 15.
Habibullah Ahmadi, 21, is now charged with second degree murder.
