The London Beefeaters (6-2) will travel to Windsor to battle the AKO Fratmen (7-1) for the Ontario Football Conference championship.
This will be the third meeting of the year between these squads.
The game will be played on Sunday, October 27th, kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. at Alumni Field.
London earned a place in the championship game by defeating the Hamilton Hurricanes on the road by a score of 17-8.
The Fratmen punched their ticket to the final by handling the GTA Grizzlies at Alumni Field by a score of 51-0.
The Fratmen lost their only game of the season in London September 7th at TD Waterhouse Stadium by a score of 41-34. Three weeks later at Alumni Field, the Fratmen playing a much more disciplined game, defeated the Beefeaters 28-13.
AKO defensive coordinator, and team owner Mike Morencie says they always get up to play London.
"This is a red letter day on our calendar all year long every time we play them, we've had some weird contests in the past, some highly contested games, and a lot of talking going back and forth, so we're pretty fired up for the opportunity and we really want to stick it to them," says Morencie.
