You haven't seen or heard much from former Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty, but he's still fighting climate change.
McGuinty spoke at the University of Windsor about the impacts of climate change and what Canadians can do about it.
He clearly doesn't agree with the current Ontario government of Doug Ford. McGuinty is a fan of a carbon tax.
"The most effective kind of carbon pricing is the kind that was advanced by the federal government, that essentially says that it's going to return that money to taxpayers," McGuinty say. "In fact most taxpayers are going to come out ahead."

He says his message is aimed at getting people to take action for the future.
"We owe it to our children and grandchildren to come to grips with this. Our parents sacrificed for us in their day, they did all kinds of hard things just as their parents did for them and now it's up to us to rise to this particular occasion."
McGuinty pointed to a study done by the University of Western Ontario in London that suggested Canada is among the top ten polluters per capita in the world.
The former premier also said Americans are embracing clean energy, and quoted a statistic that a coal fired plant in the U.S. closes every 15 days.
