All area shorelines affected with increasing wind and high water levels

As the City of Windsor begins to provide sandbags for residents, the Essex Region Conservation Authority is issuing a Flood Warning.

ERCA says the flooding is already happening in the Cotterie Park Road area of Leamington and other areas could face flooding.

East to Northeast wind has started to increase and that makes areas all along the area's shorelines vulnerable to water rising.

The wind is forecast to peak late tonight.

The areas of concern are Lake Erie including Pelee Island, Lakes St. Clair and the Detroit River shorelines.
